I'm going to start this review by stating that this item is the third pair of these exact sandals I have owned. I bought my first pair about 5 years ago. I live in Florida and I can wear them most of the year if I want to. I wear shoes or sneakers when it rains, if that helps. The pair on the left are at least 2 years old, the ones on the right are the ones I just purchased. Outside of some fading the old ones still look presentable. The one thing I will caution is to go one size larger than your normal foot size. I normally wear size ten, size 11 in this model fit perfectly, which is why I checked fit as expected. One last thing, they are very comfortable and require very little break-in. I will by again if they are still in production.

    Fake fake
I deafening receive a fake ones
As you can see in the pictures they’re not the same the logo on the back and the stitching are different
    I’m returning this one

Are these even tevas? I have bought around seven pairs of Tevas- loved them all but this pair was horrible. All the other Tevas- I could just put on and wear and never have a problem. I actually had the skin rub off my heel after hiking about an hour and a half. I took the shoes off and realized I had blood on my ankle. I hate them. If this had been my first pair- it would’ve been my last pair. Horrible.

I've owned two prior versions Teva sandal style. My shoe size for them was 10.5. The M Forebay Sandal is only offered in whole number sizes and I was hesitant to purchase a size 11 afraid that it would be too large. It turned out to be a perfect for me. I recommend that if you wear a half size buy the next higher whole size for this product.

What I like about this style of Teva sandal is its simplicity and comfort. It doesn't "make a statement" with loud, colorful and protruding features. It just provides great arch support and comfort.

Got my first pair of Tevas in the very early 90's. Went almost 20 years until i bought another pair in 2012 (an earlier version of the Forebay) for the last 6 years. No reason against Teva, just didn't find the need or want to spend lots of $ on essentially upscale flip-flops. But, I absolutely loved the 2012 sandals and only needed these when the tread finally got so flat I just couldn't wear them anymore (at less than $10/y that that's a good investment).

These are a little darker than I would have preferred, but man are they comfortable. The one thing my old Tevas didn't have that these do is an adjustable tension slide for the top-of-the-foot support. Being able to relax that makes these not only functional for all my outdoor fun and casual summer style, but comfortable as heck.

Bought these for my husband for our honeymoon to Costa Rica this year. He liked the look of them but they ended up chafing blisters on both heels to the point were we had to bandage them up after using them for one day. Shoes are great quality, I just wish they didn't chafe so bad. I will be trying out a different shoe for our next vacation.

This is probably my fourth pair of Teva sandals over the last few years. They are my preferred footwear for just about any occasion. I do a lot of walking and they give me good support. I especially like them for travel - they are a breeze to take off and put on when going through TSA security.

As long as I wear socks that match the color of the sandals, I can even get away with wearing them to 'dress-up' situations.

The sandals were just the right size, however, the heel protective leather piece rubbed me raw until I bled. Am still unable to wear them a week later.
Reba I love your products but not this one!!!!

Great great design but hard work to break in (some blisters in my case)... but worth it.

    Product was as advertised

Sandals smell strongly of petrochemicals once you take them out of the box - but with all man-made materials, it's to be expected

The arch support is a bit firmer than I would have thought, but since I haven't really gone walking any great distance in them, I don't know if that will be a problem

Colouring is a bit darker than shown on the Amazon page, but I find that to be the case with many shoes on here - and one detail not shown: the heel pulls have a reflective strip woven in... in case you're walking in front of a really small car?

People have complained about blisters, but if you loosen the bungie strap all the way, the shoe's balance moves forward and there won't be as much friction at the back of your ankle

The only problem I foresee, for me anyhow, is that my baby toe sometimes catches on the shoe's "leather" by poking out one of the holes - but my toes rake backwards maybe a bit more than others

I use these as all-arounders; they are my beater sandals. I find them true to size, very washable as they are all-synthetic, and have good cushioning for what they are. Decent buy, try to time them on sale or reduced though.

The color is actually gray, not brown like on the picture, but it wasn't a dealbreaker for me. Great sandals otherwise.

The smell that other reviewers mentioned is not an exaggeration. They smelled a very strong chemical smell for months, even after I tried airing them out in the sun outside.

Also had some chafing caused by the rear strap on the back of my foot after only wearing them for a couple of days.

Bought these to replace 2 older pairs of the same sandals. These are much improved, fit perfectly and are built to last. Really comfortable with very little break in period. Best sandals I have owned. Will buy again for sure.

The shoes are excellent quality. For some reason they are no longer available in stores in Australia anymore.
We were worried they might not be genuine, but they are and so far seem to be pretty great quality.
They do have quite a strong leather smell.

I'll be doing a lot of walking on beaches and vacation streets. Love these!

I wore them for only one day and I now have painful blisters on the back of both heels. I like the style and will try again in a few days when the blisters heal. Will use bandaids on both heels next time, until I break in these sandals.

Nice solid sandal . Fits slightly small . I would order a half size larger .

Great water sandals for ankle support!!!

    Hubby loves them fits perfectly
